If this was your time, you may remember...

Our name change to Huron University College that positioned us among 'universities' in the world-wide Google environment and linked us to students searching for small classes, teaching excellence and a supportive community. Dr. Ramona Lumpkin's appointment in 2001 as our first female Principal. Introduction of Community-Based Learning programs in which students participate in local companies and not-for-profits as part of their academic program. New interdisciplinary studies, a Master of Arts program in Theology and expanded Student Service programs such as careeer counselling. New classrooms wired for internet. Library expansion and the opening of our first 'suite style' residence adjacent to Hellmuth Hall. The 'coming home' of the communion set of World War Two Chaplain Fr Walter Brown, Class of '38, killed in action in Normandy in 1944.
