Profile: Paul and Sara (nee Willis) Smith
Giving back to the place where they met and fell in love.
For Paul and Sara Smith, supporting Huron through a gift to the Silcox Memorial Library was a natural decision because it was so personal. Paul and Sara '61 in fact met in the Library and planned their life together there when they weren't hitting the books. In addition, three of their children attended Huron, and each fall you'll always see Paul and Sara at Huron's Homecoming.
Says Sara: "The library reaches out to everyone at the school, and we established an endowment for the library in appreciation for what Huron has meant to us and our family. We loved every moment at Huron and the opportunities it afforded to us during our time there."
